I was born in Seoul, South Korea, on a U.S military base in the Army Community Hospital (121st General Hospital). Growing up in a military family made me learn something important: always carry yourself. My father retired from the U.S Army after serving for 20 years, stationed in Seoul, South Korea. My older brother served in the U.S Army for 8 years and toured in the Middle East for one year as a combat medic. I heard many inspiring and tragic stories from my father and brother. Especially, one that nearly ended my brother's life during his duty, but he was luckily alive with some protection from the Humvee. They both motivate and inspire me to make a difference in the world. As a kid, my father drove around a Jeep Wangler in South Korea, and many people were fascinated by the car. During school, I wanted to work with machines in particular because I understood more with hands-on experience, and with the side of my artistic skills, I pursued an academic career in Transportation Design, B.S from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. Passion is putting love into what I create, the heart and soul. I also like sketching from abstraction to visualization in 3D models and packaging a vehicle into reality. I enjoy learning from others and working as a team to create something new, in contributing to the future.

Learning and growing up around machines for most of my life inspired me to contribute new ways and designs that improve human life. Take care of your machine, and the machine will take care of you.
